GPS trouble in Secaucus

Trucks in New Jersey now rely on GPS so much that they are all taking the same wrong route to the mall in Secausus. Their GPS navigational units direct them down a blocked residential street that gets jammed frequently now.

"They come down this street sometimes and they take wires down. If they get caught, they gotta pay to get them put back up," Sanzari said. "They all come out with the map and say: "But MapQuest says I can go this way!'"

So, is MapQuest liable? The good news is that while paper maps can take years to capture this, companies like TeleAtlas are pretty good at making these changes rapidly.
